Programs

Manitoba Farm Safety Program

The Manitoba Farm Safety Program (FSP) was established in 2016 to provide workplace safety and health advisory services and training to producers. We provide farm-specific resources and guidance to help farmers become aware, compliant and able to ensure healthy, safe workplaces.

Manitoba Young Farmers

The Manitoba Young Farmers Program has a mission to unite young farmers by supporting and promoting their growth by providing learning, networking, and advocacy opportunities. We provide learning opportunities that are aimed at supporting the growth and success of farmers under the age of 40 who are directly involved in a farm business in Manitoba.

Human Resources Program

Our Human Resources Program supports our members with consulting services, training opportunities and other resources. Human resource management is an important part of keeping Manitoba’s farming sector profitable and sustainable. Whether you have a year-round hired hand or a staff of a dozen seasonal workers, or rely on family and friends, HR management is important to farming operations.

Environmental Farm Plan

An Environmental Farm Plan helps a farmer identify the agri-environmental assets and risks of his/her operation, and outline beneficial management practices that would reduce the risks. Farmers can then apply for financial assistance to help execute beneficial management practice(s).
