Private Health Services Plan
The KAP PHSP is a CRA approved program for any farm business structure that provides owner and employee participants 100% non-taxable reimbursement from the farm business for their eligible medical expenses, while the farm business receives a 100% tax deduction for this reimbursement.
The administrator, Serre Financial, allows only CRA-eligible claims under the program and assumes all risk and liability. KAP Members receive a $50 discount off the one-time $300 enrolment fee. Prescription Safety Eyewear
In partnership with the Manitoba Association of Optometrists, KAP members are eligible for savings on prescription safety eyewear through the Occupational Vision Care Program. Bring your signed authorization form to your appointment at any of the participating locations across Manitoba to be fitted. Payment is made directly to the clinic with the savings applied automatically. The cost is a CRA-eligible medical expense and may be covered by your insurance plan.

Preventative Health Assessment
A Preventative Health Assessment, also known as an Executive Medical, is an extremely comprehensive physical and mental health examination. In addition to taking the participant’s vital stats and biometrics, blood and urine samples may be analyzed, and a range of laboratory tests are administered to provide insight into the participant’s total health. Top potential and existing health risk areas are highlighted in a thorough report for the participant to review with the medical professionals, along with next steps and goal setting.
