The Government of Manitoba sought feedback about improving the Agricultural Crown Lands Program. We recommended that government implement a regulatory sandbox to test different lease allocation systems. The approach allows government to test different options and see what works and what does not work. Doing so allows government to select an option that is tested and best suited to producers’ needs.
