Resolved, that KAP lobby the Government of Manitoba to hire more conservation officers who are offered competitive salaries to deal with hunting violations.
Update
The Government of Manitoba has made progress on recruitment, hiring five new Conservation Officers in 2025, with a subsequent class of recruits currently in training for deployment. Budget 2025/26 also reflects a modest increase in funding for Conservation and Wildfire Services.
