KAP is Manitoba's general farm policy organization, providing a unified voice for farmers on issues that affect agriculture.
KAP is a non-profit organization founded in 1984 and has approximately 4,700 farmer members who produce a variety of agricultural products. KAP is also supported by 18 commodity group members and 10 associate members.
KAP promotes the interest of Manitoba producers through advocacy, collaboration, communications and education. This includes meetings with provincial and federal decision-makers, participation in consultations, working groups with partners, and providing communications material and awareness campaigns.
