KAP conducted a research project to better understand the effects climate change with have on growing conditions in Manitoba. Extensive interviews and stakeholder engagement were conducted as part of this research.

The findings of the research highlight the opportunities and challenges that are expected with climate change. This can include the adoption of new crop varieties to more extreme and variable weather events in Manitoba.

The report underscores the positive role farmers play through carbon sequestration and the need for effective and practical government policies.
