The Department of Environment and Climate Change consulted with Manitobans about a net-zero strategy. Approximately, a quarter of Manitoba’s total GHG emissions stem from the agricultural sector. And the Canadian Net-Zero Emissions Accountability Act mandates GHG emission reduction targets—net zero by 2050.
