Manitoba agriculture plays a key role in the provincial economy. With over 14,500 farms, the agriculture and agriprocessing sector contributed $5.19 billion to the GDP in 2024: representing seven percent of the GDP. The province launched its annual budget consultation, and our comments included taxation, rural infrastructure, drainage, labor, regulation, trade, right to repair, health care, and crime.
