Resolved, that KAP lobby Manitoba Agricultural Services Corporation, the Government of Manitoba and the Government of Canada to enhance and modernize current farm production insurance.
Update
The resolution led to incremental improvements in farm production insurance. E.g., AAFC removed the reference margin limit in 2021 and increased the compensation rate from 70% to 80% in 2023.
